What is being voted on?
In 2026, the World Federation of Neurology (WFN) Council of Delegates (COD) will vote on the following positions and topics:
- Secretary General (2027–2030): A four-year term to take office from January 1st, 2027
- Elected Trustee (2026–2029): A three-year term to take office immediately on election.
- WCN 2029 Host Venue: Selecting the location for the 30th World Congress of Neurology.
Important Dates
- Voting Period: Monday, 28 September – Friday, 16 October 2026
- Results Announcement: Tuesday, 27 October 2026 (During the WFN Annual General Meeting of the Council of Delegates)
WFN Member Societies are invited to register online ⧉ to attend the AGM and to vote.
Only WFN member societies with fully paid membership dues* are eligible to vote. If you are unsure whether your society's dues have been paid, please contact the
