Voting opens on Monday 1st September, 2025 @ 1200 Universal Time (UCT)
What is being voted on?
This year, the WFN Council of Delegates (COD) are invited to vote in the WFN Elections and ballot:
The positions up for election are:
- President of the WFN (2026-2029)
- First Vice-President of the WFN (2026-2029)
- Elected WFN Trustee (2025-2027)
A ballot will also be carried out to decide:
- the host venue for the XXIX World Congress of Neurology, being held in Europe in 2028.
Candidate statements are published on the WFN website ⧉ and in World Neurology.
Only WFN member societies who are up-to-date* with their membership dues are eligible to vote. Any questions regarding dues should be directed to the
WFN Office.
* 2025 Deadline for paying dues is Friday, 12th September 2025.
The voting results will be announced at the WFN Annual General Meeting of the Council of Delegates, on Sunday, 12th October 2025, during WCN 2025 in Seoul, South Korea.
