What is being voted on?
This year, the WFN Council of Delegates (COD) voted in the WFN Elections for the positions of:
- President of the WFN (2026-2029)
- First Vice-President of the WFN (2026-2029)
- Elected WFN Trustee (2025-2027)
A ballot was also carried out to decide:
- the host venue for the XXIX World Congress of Neurology, being held in Europe in 2028.
Voting took place between Monday, 1st September and Friday, 19th September 2025.
Candidate statements are published on the WFN website ⧉ and in World Neurology.
Only WFN member societies who are up-to-date* with their membership dues at the tie of voting were eligible to vote. Any questions regarding dues should be directed to the
WFN Office.
* The 2025 deadline for paying dues is Friday, 12th September 2025.
The voting results will be announced at the WFN Annual General Meeting of the Council of Delegates, on Sunday, 12th October 2025, during WCN 2025 in Seoul, South Korea.
